Hello.

I’m Da Hae Kim, a multidisciplinary designer, illustrator, and animator currently based in Portland, Oregon. I studied Illustration + Motion Graphics at ArtCenter College of Design and have spent the past 14+ years creating visual stories across advertising, entertainment, digital campaigns, branding, and social content.

My work blends illustration, motion, design systems, and storytelling — often balancing playful visuals with thoughtful, human-centered communication. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with studios, agencies, and brands including Nike, Apple, Google, Airbnb, Pandora, and National Geographic.

Outside of client work, I enjoy sewing for my baby, painting, collecting fabrics, making things by hand, and spending time outdoors with my rescue pup Horchata.
